First Day of School! Yea!

The first day of school has come and the Hittys are excited and yet a little afraid as they've never attended school before. Just look at those attentive little faces! They picked out the desk they wanted and sat up so straight and were ready for thier first day. If you'll look closely on the left, Tang was allowed to come to school too since he is such a good kitty. 

The girls were so excited and just a little bit nervous as they waited to see how the school day would go. They did look sweet in their new school dresses!

The classroom was so festive and fun looking! The desks were all colors, there was a nice view from the windows, the back of the room was set up for reading and there was even a Hitty bench where Tang sat!

Miss Pearl is the Hittys teacher. She is so kind and thoughtful and wears glasses. She was going to teach them many things and especially things about their ancestor Hitty!

Written on the chalk board is what the girls are to expect. Some of the Hittys can read and some cannot yet but they learn very quickly.

Eek!! Do I see a mouse??

 

What a wonderful first day the Hittys have had! They love recess and all of the play equipment to play on! Miss Pearl has made friends with Tang!
