A Wonderful Christmas Time

 

 

  Well after my knee had been all chopped up, my Hittys were getting tired of waiting on me. They were having a fit to put up their Christmas tree! I found the Christmas things and they were so happy! Hitty Rudi is putting the finishing touches on the tree while Hitty Tootie is just chillin’ playing with bunny rabbit.

Hittys Helping Me Recover

 

As much as I hated to do this - I had to have a knee replacement. I'm hope and Hitty Rudi has volunteered to be my nurse.

Here she is making sure I follow through with my bike peddling. She is a strict little nurse and is keeping me going!

Wardrobe Challenge

 

Well, here we go! My surgery is in the morning and Hitty Mary Geri was crying that I hadn’t finished the November Wardrobe Challenge for her! So what did I do? I made her a fall dress to wear to Sunday School. She is happy now. It just breaks my heart to have an unhappy girl.

Meet Cricket and Truly

New Dresses!

 

Hittys Victory and Seany wanted to show you their new dresses. I’m a member of the Gail Wilson monthly club and was sent the fabric and patterns for these two dresses. Hitty Victory is wearing the Pinafore Dress and Hitty Seany is wearing the Drop Waist Dress. They both wanted hats so they got them. Which dress do you like the best?

Halloween Costumes

 

The Hittys wanted me to show you their photo before they went Trick or Treating last night. Since this was their first Halloween, they were a little afraid. I told them them I would go with them and all would be well and they would come home with lots of candy. Of course they had to share some candy with me!

 

We have a little witch but she is a sweet one!

Two New Girls

 

 I couldn't help myself and just had to carve a couple more Hitty girls. Meet Hittys Seany (pronounced Shawnie) and Victory! After they were carved they went through all of the Hitty dresses and picked these two to wear to church yesterday. Both of their little wooden heads are a little bit askew. Wonder how I did that? Anyway, here are my two latest Hittys and I do hope you like them.

Hitty Boo Boo

  This is my last newly chopped up Hitty to show you, well, for now! Meet Hitty Boo Boo! Her name is really on purpose. She is carved from butternut wood and usually it's works just fine but this time as I got ready to carve her nose - there was a little hole through the wood right where her little nose was to be!! Oh, no! But thanks to Kwik Wood, wood filler to me, I used it and now she has a nose. Her little face seems to be a little more rough as I couldn't sand her smooth.                       

So she's a little Boo Boo, a little Hitty Boo Boo!

Hitty Pun'kin

 

 I have another one to show you. Please meet Hitty Pun'kin. She wanted to be named something seasonal and we came up with Pun'kin, pumpkin was too formal she said. Ha! These little wooden heads. Ignore the bottoms of her shoes. When I drilled her leg holes for her pegs - I got them crooked and had to make adjustments with lifts! Ha! Like the 1970s!

Hitty Elizabeth

 

   Here is another new Hitty I made. Somehow she heard about Elizabeth Taylor as I was carving her and she insisted her name be Elizabeth and she must have violet colored eyes and little wispy bangs. Oh, my Lord! So here is Hitty Elizabeth and hope you like her.

Hitty Tiny

 

  I decided to chop up some more Hittys and I have the first one to show you today - Hitty Tiny. I named her Tiny because I got her head a lot smaller than most of my Hittys so she's shorter too. I see some of you use colored pencils on your little Hitty faces and I wanted to do that too! I'm not sure if I'll do this again, but hey! I'm willing to try anything.

 I needed to carve another Hitty and I was watching the movie Rudy and when my girl came to life she wanted to be named Rudy! I told her that was not a little girls name. She insisted so I told her we would change the spelling to Rudi. She loved it. Of course she got a new crocheted dress and hat. Hitty Rudi said she needed a friend so I carved her one.

   I just had to carve another Hitty, so meet Hitty Charmy.                                                                           She is number 84. She wanted a crocheted dress and hat just for her so she got it.

 It was Wardrobe Challenge again and this time is was to sew a skirt and blouse.  Hitty Mary Geri got a gathered full purple skirt with a gathered at the waist blouse. She thought she looked so pretty and asked for a bonnet.

 So that’s what she got, a purple bonnet all frilled up.

Silly Wooden Dolls

 

 

Meet Miss Sassy

 

Meet Miss Priss

 

 I was scrolling online and saw some little wooden dolls and it gave me an idea to create a different little wooden doll who can be a friend to my Hittys! Meet Miss Sassy and Miss Priss. As you can see, they can’t stand up on their own. These little gals think they are pretty cute in their undies. They can wear my Hittys clothes but not the dresses with long sleeves as I cut their arms a little too short. Hope you like these new little gals.

 

 

 

 As you can see, Miss Priss is very prim and proper. She is such a little lady and has the most wonderful manners.

 

On the other hand, Miss Sassy is just that!  

  She was telling my Hittys how to flirt with boys and how to act sexy!! No, no! My little Hittys are not going to be around this sort of stuff. I am going to put Miss Priss and Miss Sassy away in a box! Lord, have mercy!

 What have I done!!!

The Spice Girls

 It's taken me a couple of weeks to carve this little set of five Hittys!
