She's a sweet little thing with blue eyes. She's kinda shy but the other Hittys will bring out her personality!

Wardrobe Challenge - New Cape

 I'm so excited to say we are caught up with Tracy's Wardrobe Challenge! I have made Hitty Mary Geri her new cape. It's made from cheap little felt and I added a variegated trim around it to fancy it up. Hitty Mary Geri wanted to take a walk this morning. It was a bit windy so the hood was perfect!

Flag Day!

Yesterday was Flag Day and my girls decided to celebrate by riding their bikes and having so much fun!

Poor little Tang can't ride a bike but he can certainly ride in the wagon!

Meet Hittys Gracie and June Bug

 I’ve carved two new girls - right: Hitty Gracie and left: Hitty June Bug. Hope you like my new little wooden heads.

Of course you see they both got new crocheted dresses.

I wanted to be all smarty so I carved a little flower at the back of Hitty Gracie's head to hold her pretty hair back a little.

Warrobe Challenge - Dress

  This month you can see Hitty Mary Geri's Wardrobe challenge and this is her dress! She is new to the world and wanted to go and walk in the rain in her new dress! These Hittys! I forgot to add that the floral material is Wendi Dunn's Hitty fabric from Spoonflower.

 Hitty Mary Geri is so happy to be in this world and is enjoying every minute!

Hitty Mary Geri has met all of the other Hittys and they just love her. Bunny stepped forward and said, “Since you , Hitty Mary Geri, are new to our family, I am giving up my garment of the month to you!” All the Hittys clapped and now someone has to catch up to get Hitty Mary Geri up to date!

Tea Party!

Tea Party! The Hittys wanted to celebrate their new living room and decided to have a tea party! Even Tang got in on the fun.

A Big Booboo and Hitty Poppy!

 Just a warning for you…if you carve make sure your blades are nice and sharp because dull blades make you work too hard and you can see what can happen. I was in a hurry and trying to finish Hitty's little arms and kept carving with a dull blade, it slipped off the wood and stabbed me in my palm! Blood blood blood and lots more blood! I did go get it checked out and they put me on antibiotics but no stitches. The blade went deep but not wide. Be careful my friends.

It's been about a month or so and now I am healing and feeling better. So enough doom and gloom! I thought I would share with you the Hitty I was carving at the time. Yes, I did bandage my boo boo and finished her arms. 

Meet Hitty Poppy! I started to name her Vampira since she stabbed me so hard, but she didn’t really do it so for the 4th of July we settled on Hitty Poppy. 

She is carved from butternut wood and I always paint my dolls faces, neck and upper chest and just leave the arms and legs. Oh, I do paint on socks and shoes.

 I think I'm proud of Hitty Poppy. She seems pretty sweet - for now!

 Hittys Fancy and Georgette got new ‘Hitty like’ fabric dresses. They felt so good in Sunday School with their pretty new dresses on!

Hitty Mary Geri

I'm so very excited as I have a Hitty shoulder head and it was given to me by my sweet friend Mary L Yates! Thank you, Mary! The new shoulder head told me she wanted a little work done on her face so I did a little sanding on it, painted her and added wooden limbs to her soft body. Don't look too close as the torso between the legs was too long and I cut it off after I was finished and sewed it up but no one will see it as she is now wearing pantaloons! Thank you again, Mary! Meet Hitty Mary Geri!

Hitty Mary Geri is so pleased with her new face job. I am too!
