I have one more new carve to show you. Little Bubba was lonesome so I carved him a friend. Meet Dusty. He is wearing the same crocheted overalls until I can make him some proper clothes. I am through carving for a while as my hands are still screaming! I think I’ve carved too many days without a break! Ouch!
Good morning! After I carved Hitty Annalie and Bubba last week, I couldn't stop so I carved two more Hittys but my hands said 'ouch', so I had to take a break. So today I wanted to introduce you to Hitty Edra on the left (Edra was my mother's middle name) and Hitty Rue. They are very happy to be alive!

Oh, no! We heard something loud outside so Bubba and Hitty Annalie went out to see what it was - it was BIG FOOT! Oh, my goodness! Hitty Annalie was so scared that she fell down but Bubba came to her rescue, helped her up and they flew back inside! They said no more going outside for a while. Lord, have mercy!

Hitty Annalie and Bubba are out playing again this morning! They found a turtle to ride! Hi ho!!
Hitty Annalie and Bubba wanted to go outside and play. Bubba saw the wind chimes hanging from the tree and encouraged Hitty Annalie that she could do this. She was a little afraid but she climbed up and they were so proud of themselves and asked if I would they their picture. Well, here are my brave little wooden children!

For two years I have been trying to carve a Hitty face to look like a little girl! I just couldn't get it because they always ended up looking like teenagers. Well, I think I finally carved a little girl Hitty! I would like to introduce you to Hitty Annalie! Well, again, I couldn't stop so I thought I would try my hand at carving a little boy, so meet little Bubba! He and Hitty Annalie are going to be great friends. Hope you like my little children.

My Hitty girls were reading Alice in Wonderland and just loved it. They wanted so much to meet her… so I tried my hand at carving Alice and here she is…not perfect but my Hittys are thrilled. She is carved from butternut wood.
Here she stands all proud on my Fostoria cake stand.Go ask Alice, when she's 10 feet tall! Well, she's a little over 6 inches tall! I'm just singing you a song.

Here I go again - I carved another Hitty and this is Hitty Rayne and she looks alot like Hitty Lacey the previous girl I showed you. I just can't stop, don't want to stop carving. Am I getting any better - I really don't know. I'm getting faster but I still am not pleased with the faces - they don't look like the Hitty face in my head. Agh!!

Well, in spite of me messing with my already carved Hittys, I'm continuing to carve. I would like to introduce you to Hitty Lacey. I'm happy with her and she is happy to be alive. I made her a sunshiny new dress. Hope you like her.
Well, I seemed to have had another Hitty in my head that needed to be carved. I have determined if I wait a week or a few days between carvings, my hands don't get the ouchies! Anyway, please meet new Hitty Macy! She is happy to join the group!

Well, something is wrong with me because I can't leave my Hittys alone! I keep changing them! Hitty Rosey had fat little cheeks that I thought were too fat so I carved them off and a lot of her neck too! Lord, have mercy! Anyway, meet the new Rosey. She seems to be very happy even if her neck is kinda skinny!

Hitty Rosey got another new dress and wanted to show you all! You can’t see it but she has on bloomers too! After showing Hitty Marigold in her crocheted dress with no undies - one of you noticed and I realized she was showing off her goodies! Shame on me. Now each new Hitty will get new undies before she gets a new dress. Thanks for keeping me straight!

Well my new girls, Hitty Rosey and Hitty Marigold have met and have really bonded! They are in the crate/room box house playing their little wooden heads off!

Here I go again - I just can’t stop carving! Meet Hitty Marigold! Her wooden blank was kinda crumbly and little pieces would drop off when I carved , you can see the little crack on her bottom lip. But none the less, I’m pleased with her. I’m trying y’all and I’ll keep going till I can sorta get it right. She did get a new crocheted dress to celebrate her new to the world status!
Hitty Marigold got another new dress. She didn’t like her hairline, so we adjusted it. And…she wanted darker lips so we adjusted that too! These girls can be sooooo particular about their looks!!

When a new Hitty is born, she always asks for a crocheted dress - so I’ve been busy. Left to right: Hitty Phoebe, Hitty Camille and Hitty Lacey. Sitting is Hitty Rosey and of course Tang. They wanted to go to the park and pick some flowers.
